Save Police are appealing for information after an aggravated robbery at Windsor Avenue Store in Hastings last night where cigarettes and cash were taken.
Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Hastings dairy last night.
Two women entered the Windsor Park Store on the corner of Windsor Avenue and Louie Street demanding cigarettes and cash at about 7:25pm.
When the sole shop assistant told them he was not going to open the till,
one of the women pulled out a length of chain and smashed the till monitor.
While this was happening the second woman ran behind the counter and grabbed a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco.
Both then ran out of the store and got into a vehicle which had been parked outside the store facing the wrong way.
The vehicle was possibly blue.
