It's almost time to get your sequins out for Sparkle 2016.

More than 100 sponsors have come together to support the black-tie charity event set to take place at Church Road Winery next Saturday.

The event, in aid of Presbyterian Support East Coast's Enliven service, has been met with excitement from local, national and even international businesses which have given generously to ensure that as much money as possible is raised on the night, according to fundraising manager, Shirley Collins.

"We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of over 100 sponsors, who have been so forthcoming with their support of Sparkle 2016."

Church Road Winery is providing the venue and all the wine for the evening.

"Our Dream Team - Orton Tailored Cuisine, Mardigras Event Hire and Sight and Sound Services - are once again involved, and it is just wonderful to work with them. Brebner Print has joined us this year as our official print sponsors, which is a wonderful partnership."

The theme, decor and entertainment will remain secret until the grand reveal on the night, however the 12 auction lots will be announced on the Sparkle Hawke's Bay Facebook page next week.

Some of the lots on offer include a reversible 18-carat yellow gold and palladium necklace created especially for the event by Bruce Jackson of Unio Goldsmith, a designer label dress from Papillon Boutique and an island holiday to New Caledonia from House of Travel Hawke's Bay.

There is also an exclusive opportunity to be accompanied by Ray Davies, tactician for Emirates Team NZ, on an America's Cup sailing experience in Auckland. The prize also includes a personal tour with Ray of the Emirates Team NZ base.

"We are thrilled with the quality of lots for auction on the evening," Ms Collins said.

"Two of our inaugural sponsors, Unio and Papillon, have once again donated beautiful pieces.

"To have Ray Davies on board (literally) has also been a highlight for us, as he has personally offered his support by accompanying the winning bidder on the sailing experience. It's things like this that really set Sparkle apart."

The general manager of Enliven, Lorna Cowan, said it was wonderful to know there were so many people who support Enliven's work.

"To have an event of Sparkle's calibre in support of Enliven is a great privilege, and we are so grateful to everyone who is involved as a sponsor.

"People really do see the value in the work we do to help people regain and retain their independence - that is very encouraging for us."
