The Better Home and Living Show at the Pettigrew-Green Arena was a major drawcard at the weekend.
It showcased a variety of exhibitors who turned out to promote their businesses and share the latest eco-trends and innovations.
The show, in its fifth year, ran Friday and all weekend with manyinvolved this year being locals. Jade Promotions looked after the event and organiser Daniel Joll said early indications were the three day show had been very successful.
"It's gone really well," he said. "We are have had close to 8000 adult visitors and the feedback so far has been really positive."
Prior to the show, Mr Joll said he was preparing for crowds of up to 8000 and said the more than 120 exhibitors - about 70 per cent from Hawke's Bay and the rest from across the North Island - would have had a very successful couple of days of promotion.
"A lot of them [exhibitors] have done really well," he said.
The show launched several new products and services in the Hawke's Bay area, such as Kiwi Bees that allows people to have beehives on their property, worm farms and more standard displays.
Hawke's Bay Today returned again as the principal sponsor.
