The Regional Signature Dish event has about 30 participating restaurants throughout Hawke's Bay this year. The public will be able to order the specially crafted Signature Dishes and vote for their favourite.

New Zealand Olive Festival

The festival will include children's activities, olive oil tastings and olive appreciation workshops, cooking demonstrations, olive grower stalls, food and entertainment.

Carters Hatuma Half Marathon

Get off the couch, lace up your runners, run it or walk it, but do it! This annual half-marathon takes you around the scenic Lake Hatuma, where you can breathe fresh country air. Walkers start at 9am; runners start at 10am and prizegiving is at 12.30pm.
Where: Waipukurau Racecourse, Racecourse Rd, Waipukurau.
When: 8am-2pm.
Tickets: Registrations by September 15 or a late fee of $5 is incurred.
