Tiki Taane, the musical activist, brings his powerful one-man-band show to the Black Barn Market Round for one night only on Friday.

Renowned as much for his powerful, headlining live performances as he is for the anthems he writes and produces, Taane's extraordinary ability to rock the mic as both a gifted performance MC and/or a solo acoustic performer is something to be experienced firsthand.

This One-Man-Band show will be full of great tunes, beautiful vibes and a killer performance from one of Aotearoa's most talented and diverse musicians.

Taane's ability to rock and unify an audience through his music, with a fearless approach to live looping, is why he is known as the King of the Dubs.

Taane was a member of leading New Zealand band Salmonella Dub but left in 2007 after 11 years to pursue a solo career.

His debut album, Past, Present, Future, released 2007, has since gone twice platinum, achieving a number one single, Always On My Mind, which is the most successful single of all time in New Zealand.

It was the first digital single to reach platinum sales and also holds the record for staying in the NZ Top 40 Charts for 55 weeks.

He has also produced multi-platinum albums for bands such as Six60 and Salmonella Dub.
Don't miss this incredible show at the Black Barn Market Round.
