Get along to an Irish musical extravaganza

Award-winning fiddler Marian Burns joins Operatunity next Wednesday in Hastings for a fun musical extravaganza.

The If You're Irish, Come into the Parlour concert will include popular tunes from jigs to ballads, include McNamara's Band, I'll take thee Home Again, That's an Irish Lullaby and Phil the Fluter's Ball.

Joining Burns on stage will be Operatunity director John Cameron and guest artists Alex Milligan, Ben McDonald and Imogen Thirlwall, accompanied by an Irish band.

Burns has performed widely overseas won the Benny Award at the 2012 Variety Artists Awards, was named Australia's best fiddler as a soloist at the 2013 Golden Fiddle Awards.
