Moira Howard, Ian Campbell, Carylann Martin and Ross McDermott will be playing those sweet country sounds.
Kapiti Coast-based musical duo Legal Tender are performing at the Playhouse Theatre, Hastings, on Friday night.
Ian Campbell, guitar, and Moira Howard, bass, perform an eclectic mix of alternate country covers and originals.
They have become known for their "down-home country" renditions of songs by popular artists such as Hank
Williams and plan to deliver more of the same throughout their tour.
During the concert, they will be joined by country music duo Rusty and Rose, Rusty (Ross McDermott) playing lap steel/banjo and guitar, and Rose (Carylann Martin) on keys and piano accordion.
"We have been privileged to play alongside a wealth of musical talent and experience over the years, and this year it is a real pleasure for Moira and I to perform the show Rural Delivery with two of New Zealand's top country musicians," says Campbell.
