Horonui Homestead's garden will ring with the sound of Scottish music during a Sound of Scotland concert next month.
Johnnie and Pauline Campbell are hosting the third annual concert in support of the City of Hastings Pipe Band and The Iona College Foundation. The event is also part of theF.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic series of food and wine experiences in Hawke's Bay over 10 days.
It will feature the City of Hastings Pipe Band and guests, including Irish Folly, Joe Christensen, Tessa Rao, and dancers from the studios of Gaye Reid, Karen Mortensen, Nicole Brocklehurst and Jill McIntosh.

Irish Folly, who perform a mix of popular Celtic tunes, will accompany Christensen for two classics, Danny Boy and Carrickfergus. John De La Haye (aka Hayes) and Keith Gosney will appear with Klaas Hogenesch for the show.
Regular performers in Hastings, on the Hawke's Bay wine trail and at other events since 1993, Irish Folly have performed at Horonui with the City of Hastings Pipe Band before, back in 2001 at a fundraiser for the local Volunteer Fire Brigade at the then newly reconstructed homestead.
Sound of Scotland, garden opens 6pm, concert from 7.30pm, Saturday, November 2, at Horonui Homestead, 209 Horonui Rd, 18km south of Hastings off SH2.
