There are less than 500 tickets left to the Bryan Adams concert at Black Barn Vineyards in Hawkes Bay on January 6.

These remaining tickets are expected to sell out quickly over the next few days.

Bryan Adams brings his GET UP world tour to four of the country's most picturesque outdoor summer venues in 2018. As well as Black Barn in Hawkes Bay, the tour takes in Matakana Country Park north of Auckland on January 2, the TSB Bowl of Brooklands in New Plymouth on January 4 and the ASB Baypark Stadium in Mount Maunganui on January 5

Dave Dobbyn and The Jordan Luck Band are both supports on the entire tour.

Adams was last in New Zealand in 2013 with his Bare Bones Tour, but this will be the first time since 2003 that he will bring his full live band!

For the concert in the Tukituki Valley, Havelock North on January 6, special measures are being taken to ensure crowd management runs smoothly - for what is one of the biggest gigs to ever come to Hawke's Bay.

With the show expected to sell out so quickly, thousands are expected to flock to Black Barn Vineyards offsite venue in the beautiful Tukituki Valley. A major international events management company has been brought in to help bus traffic issues around the venue, putting together an upgraded traffic and crowd management strategy.

Foamhand, a firm that has worked on events including Bruce Springsteen and Robbie Williams concerts, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup and the London and Rio Olympics, has come up with a strategy heavily reliant on buses. FOAMHAND Managing Partner Calum Nicholson explained the best way to move people in and out of the venue for the Black Barn leg of Bryan Adams 2018 World Tour would be via bus.

"For Black Barn Vineyards Offsite, we have considered patron convenience, the number of people we are trying to move and where they are coming from, and the best available transport modes," Mr Nicholson said.

Buses will run on a rotating schedule to deliver concert-goers to and from the concert.

The return 'Park and Ride' bus services will run from a series of locations around Hawke's Bay, with limited, paid parking to be made available at the venue itself.

"The organisers need to limit access and reduce and slow traffic around the event, for an occasion as popular as the Bryan Adams concert," Mr Nicholson said.

He advised that people wishing to be dropped off and collected could face "lengthy delays", urging people to use the bus shuttle services.

Black Barn Vineyards Event Manager Francis de Jager said they'd brought the "world's best" in to help run the gig.
