Otawhao-Takapau WI: Christmas at the Paper Mulberry

CHB's Women's Institutes got together for a Christmas celebration.

Fifteen members of Otawhao-Takapau WI met to celebrate Christmas at the Paper Mulberry, with two special visitors, Christina McV and Kayden M.

Members from the Wakarara and Waipawa-Tikokino WIs joined them at the venue.

Otawhao-Takapau had a buffet with cold meats, potato bake and a variety of salads. We had a dessert of a chocolate mud cake with whipped cream.

Otawhao-Takapau’s junior member gave out next year’s programs to our members.

Secret Santa gifts and gifts from Secret Friends were exchanged.

It is Debbie T’s birthday in January. She was given a spray and a card and we sang happy birthday to her.

A raffle was sold. First prize Carol B, 2nd prize Hazel W, 3rd prize Dot K.

After the meal Otawhao-Takapau mixed with the members of the other institutes.

All went home about 2pm.
