Tararua business awards looming

Tararua businesses are being encouraged to enter the 2011 Westpac Manawatu Business Awards.
Lianne Simpkin, marketing manager for Tararua District Council said the awards served several purposes for small business owners.
"Awards are terrific PR triggers, often leading to media coverage. They act as validation for your success, and can be highly motivating to you and to your employees," she said.
