Havelock North plumber John Simmiss continues to collect a corporate CV with his appointment as the new deputy chair of the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.
He is also a board member of the Plumbers, Gasfitters, Drainlayers and Roofing Industry Training Organisation, having recently stepped down as chairman.
He was the inaugural president of Master Plumbers and is the the New Zealand representative on the World Plumbing Council.
