A gateway property to Havelock North is for sale. Robotics manufacturer Hayden & Custance moved to a larger Hastings site in June, leaving vacant its 6015sq m Cooper St property.
It is at the entrance to Havelock North and faces the main route between Hastings and Havelock North. It is
one of the largest commercial properties in the area.
It includes 473sq m of John Scott-designed offices, a high-stud 2826sq m industrial shed, large slide door access, open-plan interior space and parking.
Bayleys salesman Daniel Moffitt said there was speculation it could be converted into a completely new format.
"The frontage onto Karanema Drive is currently enclosed by trees and an open grassed area. Under its existing industrial and manufacturing format, there was never any need to expose the property to Karanema Drive," he said.
