The co-owner of Auckland's Vector Arena has been appointed as a director of the Hawke's Bay Opera House.
Bruce Mactaggart is one of two new directors appointed following the retirement of Bryan Hutchinson and Dianne Abraham.
Mr Mactaggart, who recently moved to Havelock North, is joint owner and operator of Vector Arena,
and executive director of Immersion Edutainment Group, which produced Walking with Dinosaurs -The Arena Spectacular, one of the most successful touring shows in history.
Chris O'Reilly, a specialist in marketing and business strategy, has also been appointed a director. He is a former CEO of Christchurch City Transport, Citibank and Ascot Hospital, and is currently involved in several businesses including Tremain Holdings, and is a director of Kahungunu Asset Holding Company.
Hawke's Bay Opera House chairman John Buck said the two appointees brought an immense level of innovation and skill to the board.
