Help with the books has been followed with help with the boots after the coastal weather bomb.
Chief executive Rick Cranswick of accountancy firm WHK offered assistance to the East Coast Rural Support Trust as soon as the May devastation became apparent.
Five accountants donated their time and fencing experience to the 257ha Glenburn Farm in Waimarama on Monday.
Mr Cranswick remembered the damage his family farm suffered from Cyclone Bola. He said the first priority was to get access and stock control followed by cash flow for repairs and restocking.
"A number of our team in both the Hastings and Waipukurau offices are farmers or have grown up on farms and this was a way where we could put our farming experience to use," he said.
"It is good to have the opportunity to support the community in a practical way rather than with just monetary donations.
"This way our support goes right to the heart of those in need, it also gets us out from behind our desks hearing their concerns first hand and getting our hands dirty in the process."
Glenburn owner Anna McKay said the community support for her farm had been humbling.
