Fine feat Retailers join forces for event

Footloose women's shoe store has combined with other retailers to showcase their latest fashion offerings to each other with Fashion Week.
Evening fashion shows, with bubbles and nibbles, gave them all a chance to better understand their clients' choices.
Footloose co-owner and manager Jackie Gibson said it was something they could share because their customers were of a similar demographic.
"We all rely on email as a marketing tool and it was a chance to network with other retailers who have co-aligned customers," she said.
"We are not sharing each other's client email list but rather letting our customers know what offers each of us is featuring."
She had received an enthusiastic response from other retailers, she said.
"Shoes, fashion - that works. Free bubbly and sushi - that works."
Caroline Eve and Kilt clothing have featured at the store and tonight is the turn of Designers, based in Taradale.
