Conga message spreads via the grapevine

Rugby visitors are encouraged to join a virtual conga line along the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail during the Rugby World Cup.

Those who join up will receive email alerts about deals offered by businesses along the wine trail, which takes in Marlborough, Wellington, Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay.

Deals will also be posted on the website and Facebook page.

Classic New Zealand Wine Trail marketing manager Lucy Chambers said the promotion offered a fun way to see the country, and REAL New Zealand festival events taking place along the route.

Air New Zealand has already come on board, with one of its sponsored campervans driving the route last week, stopping in Napier on Friday.

The campervans have been painted black and named after All Blacks.
