Hastings' top businesses will take home a piece of art when they claim their business awards this month.
Local artist Ricks Terstappen has again designed the trophies for Hastings City Business Award winners.
The steel statues are two birds, facing each other
Terstappen said the "byrds" were a sign of freedom and the sculptures should give a feeling of togetherness, communication and collaboration.
"Those ingredients should make for a well-run business," he said. "They are becoming a bit of an icon, they're in high demand."
Hastings City Business Association manager Jane Janes said the trophies were a key part of the awards.
"They are an iconic component of the HBS Bank Hastings City Business Awards and it is wonderful to see them displayed proudly as a symbol of achievement and excellence in past and present winners' business.
"We are delighted that Ricks' creativity is recognised in the iconic trophies."
The shapes were laser cut at a site in Hastings and welded together.
The original shape was inspired by an offcut of a similar shape and Terstappen has designed large scale installations incorporating the birds. The awards will be announced on Friday, July 22.
