OUTLAWS had their first win of Brezz’n Darts Club’s Tuesday night winter league when they beat another newby team, Ruahine Green, 9-6.

Highlights of the clash were the match-high tally of 12 hundreds to Ruahine’s John Ahuriri, a 106 finish to Outlaws’ Tristan Reeves and a 130 start to Tristan’s younger sister Bray Reeves, and the eight hundreds achieved by Outlaws anchor man Tamanui Takarua.

Highlights of the Ruahine Black 10-5 victory over Scorpions were the match-high tally of 11 hundreds to Ruahine’s Mihi Awatere, who had a 130 start among them. Scorpions’ Jury Reedy scored his first 180 of the season.

Te Kuzzys defeated Pythons 15-0, with some great darts being thrown. Te Kuzzys’ Hukanui Brown and Errol Tamihana both scored 180s, and Jono Griffiths had most hundreds, 16, including a 123 finish.

Rhinos defeated Pumas 12-3, highlights being Rhinos’ Mike Price and Hunter Eyles having the equal-highest tally of hundreds — 12 in each case.

Irie Eyles had a score of 180 among his 10 hundreds, and Ani Tangira had a 171 start.

For Pumas, Mikey Evans scored a 180, and Sean Gooch’s tally of 11 hundreds — including a 112 high start — was the most for his team. Peter Ellingham had a 120 start.

Ford Falcons defeated Tigers 11-4, the match highlights being the night-high hundreds tally of 30 achieved by Falcons’ Tahuna Irwin. Included in that total were four 180s, one of which was a high start, and a 105 finish. Jordan Ngarangione also ran hot, with 18 hundreds, including a 180.

Tigers’ John White threw the most hundreds for his team, 14, while Erik Pu scored two 180s and a 125 start, and Willie Edwards threw a 180.

Assassins defeated Stallions 13-2, with Leroy Eyles scoring most hundreds for his team — 12. Stallions’ Dom Wilson had a 180 and a 170 start.
