The 3-and-under junior final went to a tie-breaker after the players won a game each.
Seymour-Reid drew the shot with his third bowl and Te Miha narrowly missed shifting it, giving Seymour-Reid his first junior centre title.

On Saturday, the champion of champions senior triples tournaments were held on the Wairoa greens while the junior competition was held at Gisborne.

High-quality opening bowls from Goldsbury and Geoff Pinn set the stage for a competitive final. After a fast start from Kahutia, Te Karaka settled quickly, got their noses in front and stayed there.
Tolaga Bay’s Clara Taingahue (s), Krystel Williams and Clara’s daughter Veeshaye Smiler beat Poverty Bay’s Anita Vaotuua, her sister Jessie Davis-Law and Cheryl Jenkins 17-12 after 18 ends in the women’s final.
Tolaga Bay picked up three shots on the first end, Poverty Bay came back to level the scores at 7-7 after seven ends, but Tolaga Bay edged ahead and held their lead.

In the optional junior triples final, Te Karaka trio Barbara Tuhi (s), Andrea Tuhi and Alicia Ruru beat Tolaga Bay’s Malachi Gray-Taingahue (s), Rewi Castle and Usshani Kopua-Taingahue 6-1, 5-5.
Four teams played a round robin, and the top two teams contested the final. Games comprised two sets of five ends, and teams gained three points for winning a game, a point for each set won and half a point for a drawn set.
After three rounds, Te Karaka had 13 points, Tolaga Bay 8, Gisborne 6 and Kahutia 4. Five of the seven games were decided by tie-breaker.
