BIZminton got off to an enthusiastic start last Thursday with some awesome shots and hilarious moments.

It was great to see newcomers in tussles with the more experienced and regular entrants in this annual competition.

The first round always has one side dominating, but this year the feature was the tie between GDC Smashers and Carbon Crusaders — a 3-3 draw where the scorers had to go back to points to determine the winner . . . 134 to 130 points.

Results from the first night of BIZminton last Thursday —

GDC Smashers def Carbon Crusaders, 3 matches all, 134 to 130 points.
