Eastland Kart Club held its latest points meeting in tricky conditions.

With conditions hot and windy, the track was watered before every race. That made for an excellent grippy surface, which allowed some great outside passing.

The feature race at the end of the meeting gave drivers of all classes a chance to test their skills against the best of the day’s racing.

Eleven karts raced over 10 hot laps, and Luca Vita took the win.

Vinzent MacGregor moved from the middle of the pack up to second in a great drive. Seth Hall was in the mix, as usual, and took third place.

In the rookies’ class, Nixen Gooch had two wins and Pyper Irvine had one.

In the Rotax Pro class, Harley Davis had two wins and Luca Vita took the other.

Roger Moss picked up two second placings and Ben Briant had one.

In the young guns’ class, Vinzent MacGregor had two wins and Brodie Gooch, one.

Hamish Worsnop had two second placings and Tim De La Haye, one.

Tim De La Haye also had two thirds, and Logan Irvine had one.

In the KT heavy class, Robyn De La Haye’s dad, Fred Winterton, picked up his first win in his first year racing, keeping it in the family. He also had two thirds.

Barry Irvine had a good day at the track with two wins and a second. He just keeps getting better.

Dion Lund picked up a second and two third placings.

In the KT lights, Robert De La Haye had two wins and a second placing.
