Re: Jones Slams ‘hapu’, July 11 front-page story.
Is it really necessary to insult Ngati Oneone and the iwi coalition exercising their legal right under the Resource Management Act to challenge the proposed port extension? Jones is no statesman, he is a loud-mouth waka jumper; a bully boy insensitive to
the mana and struggle of Turanga nui a Kiwa iwi. Let the legal officials decide whether the Ngati Oneone collective have a case or not and rule accordingly. Meantime butt out Shane. You are way out of line.
