To mark the end of the academic year, Year 9 and some Y10 Gisborne Girls High School students took part in the day which involved doing activities at nine stations and collecting points as they went.
Activities included the “slip ’n’ slide”, golf challenge, rugby ball throwing, teacher dunking (which
proved particularly popular), obstacle courses, a water transfer challenge and “how many can fit on this space”.
There was also a banner-making competition, fashion parade and chant competition.
The spirit of the day was about having fun but there were winners.
They were: best dressed form teacher, Steve Webb; chanting, Whitiora and 9D2; best banner, Learning Support; best costumes, 9D1. Overall winners: 9D1.
