A109 Light Utility Helicopter flight with mayor Gisborne City from the air in November 2023.
Repairs to Gisborne District Council property are taking place during the coronavirus lockdown.
The council says it continues to respond to all requests for service while taking precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The assurance comes despite street lights in Gisborne city's Aberdeen Road being out of action for
a week.
The lights have been fixed, with the delay down to a “technical issue” that meant the request for service did not initially reach the contractor assigned to the job, district council chief executive Nedine Thatcher Swann says.
“A process has been put in place to ensure this doesn't happen again,” Ms Thatcher Swann says.
