THE MetService says rain and strong southerlies will develop south of Tolaga Bay late this morning, with scattered showers further north. Heavy falls and snow are possible down to 700 metres from this afternoon.
Tonight the low is forecast to be 1 degree.

showers, with snow possibly down to 700 metres at first, turning to rain in the afternoon, some heavy falls possible and strong southerlies.
On Friday more rain is forecast, with heavy falls possible and southerlies strong for a time. There are no warnings in place for this district but weather watchers are watching.
