Belvedere Tauranga City United have won both their opening matches of the new season after promotion to Northern League division one.
In round one Tauranga travelled up to Hibiscus Coast, who missed promotion to the Premier League by just two points last season, and surprised the pundits with a 1-0
victory.
Back home at their beloved Links Avenue pitch on Good Friday, Tauranga took on one of the glamour New Zealand clubs in North Shore United and won 2-1.
Andrew Carter scored both goals from sharp finishing in the first half.
North Shore came storming back in the second spell to get a goal back but Tauranga City held on for a memorable win.
