All three WBOP Rugby Sub Union trophies will be on the line at the Tauranga Domain tomorrow and that should attract a bumper crowd to the Tauranga Sports headquarters.
The main attraction is the Baywide Premier clash between Tauranga Sports and Te Puke Sports, who will both enter the encounterwith unbeaten season records. As well as one team leaving the field at the top of the Baywide standings, the time-honoured WBOPRFS prize of the Jordan Cup, is also on the line.
In the Colts curtain raiser, Tauranga Sports will make their first defence of the Oliver Cup when they square off against their Te Puke Sports counterparts. The WBOPRFS age-group prize has already changed hands twice this season, with the home side taking the Oliver Cup home to the Tauranga Domain, when they defeated Greerton Marist 12-9 last weekend.
Colts competition leaders Mount Maunganui will play Greerton Marist, who are still smarting from being relieved of the Oliver Cup last Saturday.
Tauranga Sports' second fifteen have their unbeaten start to the Seeka KI Western BOP championship and the Hardy Rosebowl up for grabs, when they meet Te Puke Sports in the other early game at the Tauranga Domain.
The joint competition leaders have made an impeccable start to defending their Seeka KI Western BOP title and should account for the visitors.
Joint competition leaders Arataki should have few problems with Te Puna at Maramatanga Park, Mount Maunganui will be heavily favoured to repel the Greerton Marist challenge at Greerton Park, Matakana Island are at home to Rangiuru, Judea could have a good battle with Katikati at Maharia Wingate Park, with Rangataua favoured to extend their winning record against Eastern Districts at Te Ariki Park.
