"What the hell is this guy?" said Botha of Sir Bob Jones, who had bankrolled Parker's career before the pair went their separate ways over the Botha fight.
Sir Bob believes Botha is washed up. Botha believes Sir Bob is bitter.
"Bob Jones, or Tom Jones, or whoever the hell he is ... listen, it's like a guy who looks like he's unhappy with his life.
"He's not happy. What's wrong with him? Doesn't he like the Buffalo ... he doesn't look like he does."
Parker's recent work with Kevin Barry in Las Vegas was another confounding topic for Botha.
"Kevin Barry? I don't know who the hell Kevin Barry is. I mean, Kevin Cherry, Kevin Berry, what the hell? I mean, I'm going to kick some arse, and then he can go with Cherry or Berry."
Botha admits to not having seen Parker's most recent win in Las Vegas, but is unconcerned.
"People have spoken to me about it. He's not a threat to me because there's so many journeymen in the USA to get for an easy opponent so that's not a problem, and I don't care who he's fighting.
"I've got a lot of respect for Joseph, or baby Joseph as I call him. He's got a much better amateur record than Sonny Bill Williams and he's a 10 times better fighter and it's going to be a good fight, but I'm going to school him."
He then continued to evaluate the rest of the Kiwi heavyweight division.
"David Tua is a dangerous fighter, but once I've schooled baby Joseph I'll kick David Tua's arse."
At the end, though, there was one last chance to call names.
"You're going to have people who love you and you are going to have people who hate you. If you don't have people out there who love and hate you, you wouldn't sell. So maybe Bob Jones, or Tom Jones, is a Buffalo hater."
