A four-year-old boy was flown to Tauranga Hospital after swallowing cotton this evening.
The Tauranga based Trustpower TECT Rescue helicopter was dispatched to Matakana Is where the young boy choked on cotton from a blanket and it became stuck in his throat.
He was flown to Tauranga Hospital where the cotton was removed.
