Save A woman was taken to Tauranga Hospital after her arm was stuck in a roller door.
A Mount Maunganui woman had to be rescued from a roller garage door after her arm was caught as it activated.
The 40-year-old was taken to Tauranga Hospital with a suspected broken arm after it became stuck inside the grating of the door.
The woman had been entering a Mount
Maunganui apartment complex on Friday night when she reached through the grating to access a switch.
Her arm became stuck and the roller door was activated, lifting her with it.
A St John ambulance spokesman said the service was called at 6.40pm and the woman was free from the door but in pain.
