One person was critically injured and another in serious condition after a crash involving two vehicles overnight.
A police media spokeswoman said police were called to the crash on State Highway 33, Okere Falls, at 11pm on Tuesday.
"One person was critically injured and airlifted to Waikato Hospital," the spokeswoman
said.
Another person was seriously injured and taken to Rotorua Hospital via St John Ambulance.
The spokeswoman said the road was closed for several hours and reopened at 5.10am.
