A truck crashed into a barrier on State Highway 29, in Tauriko this morning.

Police were notified of the crash at 6am and a media spokeswoman said while a lane was blocked for a short time, traffic is now flowing.

The crash happened about 1km south of the Caltex on State Highway 29 towards Hamilton.

The driver was uninjured and contractors were contacted to repair the barrier.
