People travelling from Hamilton to Tauranga via State Highway 29 should prepare for congestion.

According to the New Zealand Travel Agency website, traffic is heavy on State Highway 29 from Soldiers Rd to the intersection of SH29 and Cambridge Rd.

As at 2.40pm today, traffic in the route was 50 per cent delayed compared to free-flowing.
