A grid search is being held today for Harry the dog, who ran away after a fireworks display on Friday.
Harry, a timid shih-tzu-cross with a tag that reads "cats suck", fled a relative's Miles Lane home on Friday after being frightened by a fireworks display that was partof a fundraising evening for Bethlehem College's PTA.
Owner Sharon Robertson said the family had received word of possible sightings of Harry in Judea, but nothing firm.
She had been contacted by Bethlehem College about her missing dog, and students would be pitching in to help find her pet by completing a grid search this afternoonin the gully next to Miles Lane.
The family was running out of ideas for how to find Harry and were thankful for the school's help.
