Tauranga police are asking for help to locate 31-year-old Joshua Wiremu Matiu.

Matiu has had an active warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear in the Tauranga District Court on September 29, 2015 for violence matters.

Anyone with information about Matiu's whereabouts are asked to call their local police station or information can also be provided anonymously to the organisation Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote the file number 150929/5135.
