Bay Dreams has announced the line-up for its 2019 festival.

Earlier this year, Bay Dreams was announced to be adding a sister festival in Nelson - and the festival has confirmed the international guests will appear at both dates.

The line-up for both festivals includes Tash Sultana, Shapeshifter, Sticky Fingers, Peking Duk, $uicideboy$, Macky Gee, Pnau, Katchafire, Ladi6 and more.

The festival at Mount Maunganui on January 2 begins with a pre-party on January 1, at which Shapeshifter will play; the Kiwi band will then headline the Nelson date on January 4.

A pre-party will take place on January 3 for the Nelson event, at which Mr Carmack, Hybrid Minds and Stanton Warriors will perform.
