Bay of Plenty Steamers have announced a strong team to face Wellington at ASB Baypark Stadium from 4.35pm tomorrow.

"We need to take a positive mind-set into this game against a quality Wellington side," said head Coach Clayton McMillan. "When we play with confidence and without fear we have the ability to score tries just like any other team. If we achieve that we will place pressure on a team that will have high expectations of a win on our home ground."

Sunday will be a fantastic day for rugby fans young and old. Spectators will be treated to a great display of rugby, with the Bay of Plenty Development kicking the day off at 2.00pm against Waikato Development.

Spectators will also see the Bay of Plenty Baywide Rippa Rugby champions Te Akau Ki Papamoa take on Tauranga Primary School at 4.00pm ahead of the Steamers versus Wellington match at 4.35pm.

New Zealand Defence Force will be onsite, along with the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence. The Bay of Plenty Civil Defence will be promoting the 2015 ShakeOut which will be held nationwide on October 15.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.boprugby.co.nz or tickets will be available for purchase from the gate. Gates will open at 1.30pm.
