Speed changes as well as roundabouts have been suggested for Te Puke.
The Te Puke Community Board would like to see the speed limit extended east of Te Puke and road management along the main road.
The Community Board suggested the 50km/h speed limit be extended to the eastern sideof the Waiari Stream, and 70km/h limit to Waitangi and along the main highway remains at 100km/h.
They have also expressed they would like to see a roundabout installed at No 3 Rd and some form of traffic easement at Quarry Rd and No 1 Rd.
The next board meeting will be on May 7 at 7pm and is an open meeting for the public.
