The lucky Greerton Lotto shop has another reason to celebrate - not only did it sell Saturday's $5 million Powerball ticket, it also sold an almost $20,000 Second Division prize.

Shop owner Belinda Sands has been eyeing each customer who walks in the door with excitement since she heard the news.

"It's been a good, happy day. We've had lots of people coming in, hoping it's them. We've been getting a lot of people bringing their tickets in to be checked."

Ms Sands was made even happier when she came in to work yesterday and discovered the shop had also sold a Second Division prize worth almost $20,000.

"We've had a whammy this week. I just hope someone notices it and brings it in.

"People are pretty excited it's someone local."

The prize was unclaimed by publication time.

This win brings Greerton Lotto's First Division total to 20 - just one win behind Tauranga's luckiest store, Bayfair Lotto.

The shop also sold a winning ticket on February 14 worth $4.5 million, to a retired couple who celebrated their sudden multimillionaire status with a cold beer.

That success was followed soon after by a $2 million Lotto win from Pak'nSave Papamoa on March 21.
