R&B star Kehlani to perform in Tauranga at Bay Dreams in the New Year

American R&B singer-songwriter and 2018 Grammy nominee Kehlani is heading to Tauranga as part of the Bay Dreams line-up.

Bay Dreams is a two-day music festival held at Baypark in Tauranga, which includes a warm-up party on January 1 and the main event on January 2.

Kehlani, singer of sexy R&B songs such as Distraction, CRZY and The Way featuring Chance The Rapper, will headline the January 2 festival at in Tauranga, alongside a stellar list of acts, including DJ Snake, Machine Gun Kelly, Big Shaq, Foster The People, Flatbush Zombies and $uicideboy$.

Born in Oakland, California Kehlani's appearance at Bay Dreams wraps up a highly successful year for the Bay artist, who released and toured her critically acclaimed debut album SweetSexySavage.

Tickets to Bay Dreams sold out in record time this year. A final release of 2000 tickets was recently added, with limited numbers still available at theticketfairy.com

Alongside big international names, festival-goers can expect to see top New Zealand talent on stage such as The Upbeats, Sachi, Theia and Bailey Wiley also on the January 2 line-up.

The January 1 warm-up party will feature international heavyweights Danny Brown and NAO. Joining them are Kiwi hip-hop stars SWIDT, festival favourites Black Seeds, Canadian drum'n' bass extraordinaire Stickybuds, emerging Australian EDM artist PhaseOne and Kiwi dance acts Montell2009, DJ Ruse and Lee Mvtthews.

Bay Dreams 2018 will feature four stages, world-class production, including state-of-the-art visuals, pyrotechnics, lighting and sound.

Camping is available again, and promoters have created Dream City, which hosts a massive central entertainment area, a licensed bar, a full marketplace with late-night entertainment, as well as games and activities. Glamping upgrades are also available.
