Delays are likely for motorists head east after a crash on State Highway 2 near Pukehina.
Emergency services are at the scene of a crash which happened about 2.30pm near the Pukehina turn off.
A witness at the scene said it looked like a man was knocked off a quad
bike by a car.
It is understood no one has been seriously injured, although St John ambulance officers were treated two people.
The road has not been blocked but motorists are warned of possible delays.
