Power cuts in Papamoa Beach and Te Puke

A hundred properties in Papamoa Beach and Te Ranga in Te Puke have lost power.

According to Powerco's website, power was cut to 32 properties in the suburb of Te Ranga, in Te Puke at 2.12pm this afternoon and estimated to be back on about 8.30pm.

Another 68 properties lost power in Papamoa Beach at 4.46pm, and the supply was not expected to be restored until 10.30pm.

Powerco is still investigating the cause of these outages.
