Pot catches fire at Greerton home

Firefighters were called to put out a smoking pot in a Greerton home at lunchtime today.

The Greerton fire brigade was called to a Hilltop Rd home after a pot on a stove caught fire about midday.

A Northern Fire Communications spokesman said the fire was out on arrival and firefighters worked to ventilate the kitchen.

A reporter at the scene said one fire truck attended.
