Police concern for missing man in Bay

Police have raised concerns about a missing person last known to be in Te Puke.

Lewis Cure, 71, is believed to have been travelling to Whakatane but was last seen in Te Puke yesterday morning.

Mr Cure suffers from a medical condition that requires him to take frequent medication.

Mr Cure is European of solid build, 5 foot 9 inches tall and bald. His clothing description is unknown.

Senior Sergeant Courtney Brunt said Mr Cure will need medical care when he is located.

Mr Cure is known to be driving a brown 2014 Toyota Corolla rental vehicle, registration HSD796.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police immediately on 111.
