The moment a burglar smashed his way through a glass entrance to a Papamoa shop has been caught on camera.
The offender can be seen wearing sunglasses, black hoodie, grey shorts and sneakers as he surveys the area in front of Unichem Pharmacy at Golden Sands, Papamoa.

Sergeant Tristin Murraysaid the offender used a rock to smash a window before running into the store on Saturday, September 23.
The offender allegedly stole a small quantity of over-the-counter medicine from the pharmacy, Mr Murray said.
