Photo Essay: Lana Rose and her baby boy

This week Lana Rose got to take her baby boy home. Oh her last day in Tauranga Hospital's Special Care Baby Unit, Lana wonders what to write in a thank you card to the staff for all the incredible help she and her son Dustin have received.
Dustin spent the first six weeks of his life in the unit and in theory shouldn't even be born for another two weeks.
Weighing in at 1395g (two-and-a-half blocks of butter) at birth, he was considered small, even for his gestation period. But he's been a battler and having doubled his weight, he's ready to head home.
