One person has died following a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 2, southwest of Ōpōtiki.
Police received a report of the crash, near the intersection of Ruatuna Rd, about 8.40am.
The road was closed for several hours this morning after the fatal crash.
Police extend their sympathies to the
person's family and friends.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
