The Bay's largest outlet sale is coming to ASB Baypark this weekend, perfect timing for Christmas presents or work parties.

The Indulge Outlet Sale is a one-day sale with stalls from 20 local and national clothing designers including Chaos and Harmony, Repertoire, Kingan Jones and Sisters.

Bay of Plenty Times event manager Dayna Comeskey said as far as she was aware, it was the first outlet sale of its size to come to the Bay.

"The feedback we've had in the market is we're expecting a lot of people through the doors. It's been really well received, especially at this time of year - right before Christmas parties and outings."

As well as fashion, there would also be jewellery and possibly homewares, Ms Comesky said.

"It's all stock at outlet prices, a lot of it is under 50 per cent. It's a great time to pick up gifts."

Ms Comesky said stock would be replenished throughout the day so anyone coming in the afternoon would still have a great selection to choose from.

Indulge editor Annemarie Quill said: "Like many women, shopping is my favourite activity so we are delighted to be able to host the Bay's biggest ever outlet sale with some fabulous labels.

"Bring cash - not only do the stalls not all do Eftpos, but I always like to shop with cash . . . then hubby knows no different. Not that anyone's hubby will complain at this day's shopping as there are great bargains to be had." The first hour of the outlet sale from 9am to 10am will be reserved for exclusive entry for those who present their ticket from Friday night's Indulge Bay Model competition.

Doors will open to the public at ASB Stadium Lounge from 10am to 5pm with a $5 entry fee. Shoppers should bring cash as not all traders will have Eftpos.

Limited tickets for Indulge Bay Model are still available for $20 from Repertoire.
