One lane of Cameron Rd blocked after crash

UPDATED 7.59pm: The driver of a car which rear-ended a parked truck on Cameron Rd about 4.50pm was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A St John spokeswoman said a 53-year-old woman was taken to Tauranga Hospital with minor injuries after the crash.

One lane was blocked for a short time.

EARLIER: One lane of Cameron Rd is blocked as emergency services attend a crash.

A police northern communications spokesperson said police, fire fighters and ambulance were there.

It was not yet known the circumstances of the crash or who was involved.
